Leah Fessler is an early-stage investor at NextView Ventures, where she focuses on consumer and enterprise companies solving problems relevant to a majority of Americans' everyday lives. Leah is also a freelance journalist for the New York Times, and an angel investor in Ethel's Club, Somewhere Good, Haus, and A Kid's Book About; her priority as an investor is funding women, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC founders. Prior to NextView, Leah was a staff reporter at Quartz, an early employee at Chief where she led editorial and brand, and in management at Bridgewater Associates. She graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College with a degree in English and American Literatures and creative writing, and she lives in Brooklyn with her partner and pug.
