Jay Drain Jr. is an associate at Maven Ventures, a seed-stage venture firm focused on consumer software, with exits including Zoom, Cruise, and Chariot. At Maven, Jay takes a special interest in investing in and supporting founders in consumer social, marketplaces, consumer finch, and digital health. Jay joined Maven in Fall 2020 and previously worked as an analyst in Goldman Sachs’ Global Markets Division for two years, and as a Summer Associate at pre-seed venture firm Amplify.LA. Outside the office, Jay is passionate about basketball, fashion, R&B, and scuba diving.
